We started an upgrade of our network backbone and then the storms hit central Ohio. Sites lost power, one site may have taken a lightning strike - all kinds of fun!
The DMR repeaters lost their network connection and were off-line for over a week. Things have been restored and the DMR-MARC based talkgroups are working. The Brandmeister talkgroups are still off-line. I submitted a request to have the connection reset, But, my request was deleted, my account was suspended and locked out for three days. Then I got a link to "recommended practices" which told me I didn't include my callsign in the request.
I am certain that doing tech support for Brandmeister is a frustrating, thankless job. But this kind of behavior only makes their job more difficult and frustrating for all. Perhaps we can get things fixed in three days..
